I think you may have misinterpreted it. I asked (paraphrased) "if hexbear isn't brigading, then why do they almost never comment on non-political posts?"
Can you stop "paraphrasing" things in ways that completely change their meaning, please?

Because Hexbear is an explicitly political community. They’re here for politics, so of course that’s what they’re going to comment on.
