I was really hoping that reading all the comments would inform me about what GM means here
given the context, i suspect it just means 'good morning'
The fact that someone would shorten 'good morning' to 'GM' and go through the trouble to put it in all caps bothers me
Maybe the phone autocorrected it
Maybe, but there's nothing correct about abbreviating "good morning".
The French abbreviated "today" ages ago (aujourd'hui) and they're doing fine.
