Why do smokers of all kinds have to smoke right in front of the door of every fucking building?
Bro, Imma be honest, as a nicotine addict, I wouldnt encourage anyone get on it. You start seeing nicotine as a stimulant that you "need" to get through difficult tasks, or tasks that need focus, or shit, maybe you even need to game a bit better because you're sleep deprived(caused by the nicotine) and having an extra stimulant alongside some caffeine might help. You start using it to get through stuff, and then because of withdrawals, that """""justifies""""" your use of it to get through stuff even more. Not to mention nicotine's bad effects on your gum health and cardiovascular health.
By the way, for anyone reading this, fuck vaping. Harder to quit than smoking because a lot of people get nicotine salt disposables, or their mental process when in withdrawal/craving phase is "oh it's just vapor, not smoke which is carcinogenic, one more hit couldn't hurt". Which is true, smoke, tar, combustion, etc is the main cancer causing part of nicotine, but thinking of it like that doesn't help you quit.
Don't smoke, don't vape. Longest I've lasted is a month so far, and that's because I threw my little nic salt pen and carts away.
Edit Addendum: Btw, this is typed by a mofo who is still vaping, I relapsed. I fell into that same line of logic above. "I need it to get through work" type shit
I have the exact opposite experience with vaping, but I realize anecdotal evidence is not admissible. I had been smoking roll-your-owns to save money and my use skyrocketed. Switched to a low % nicotine vape and just hit that for the next few years. When my daughter was born and I realized I wouldn't be able to vape in the house anymore, I may as well have gone back to smoking, so I just stopped. Since I had been smoking that low % stuff, I wound up having no withdrawals at all and pretty much walked away unscathed. It can be a great tool for quitting if used responsibly.
Tanks are usually better. Nic-salt is what got my dumbass twisted lol.
I bring words of encouragement: Fuck yeah. Any hit you don't take is a win, so keep at it!
I struggle with alcohol and I'm not gonna drink today again. Maybe skip a hit for a stranger on the internet, and the world'll keep a couple lights a little longer.
