Back in my day you could get an app that doubled your RAM. No memory modules required.

You could mount a cloud storage device as a pagefile, which would be a convoluted way to "download more RAM"!
Yes, there are some significant technical hurdles to jump through and it'd be impossibly slow, but it can be done!
do i have to use a physical device, and if NOT ram sticks or cloud storage devices, what should i use?
On Windows, download the google drive program and set it to a drive letter. Then once setup, create a pagefile on the drive. It's memory as fast as your internet connection.
how much memory would that add? i have at least 32GB of ram on my pc. seriously!
I don't really know if it works or does something.
I wouldn't count on it beyond the novelty.
It definitely can be done for real, but it will be soooooo slow if the os decides to use that memory.
