Pedometer (PFA) tracks steps and shows the distance you walked per day.
First I thought it was a hilarious typo... but really it's pedometer instead of podometer? Get your shit together English language.
It's latin, pedis, foot.

however, meter is Greek.
seems like only Spanish got it right, all other romance languages messed that up too.
