British Columbia, Canada just went to permanent DST.
So far, it seems no different than before. Maybe it’ll be different when others set their clocks back in 6 months.
Realistically, I can’t see it making much difference. People already don’t live in alignment with their circadian clock.
Didn't California also follow suit?
California voters overwhelmingly approved the permanent shift several years ago. HOWEVER no one in the state assembly brought it up during the legislative session to ratify it, so nothing changed. Most frustrating display of incompetence for those of us who voted for it.
Same thing happened in BC and I believe in OR; the pacific states/province were working out a plan by which they’d all switch at the same time. BC apparently lost patience and just went ahead with it.
