Markets were getting a little yippy. A little afraid.
This is all probably made up. Trump does these posts all the time and the other side comes out and says we have agreed to shit. There just for his base to go wow what a negotiator! And so he doesn't look like he's just TACOing like usual.
That's my take... last time he said the USA was negotiating with Iran, Iran came out to say they have talked to nobody
I am willing to bet my last $100 that this is just a childish attempt to cool down the jitters in the market

Just scrolling through lemmy I passed a headline that Iran stated there were no talks.
Yeah, I saw a thing that Meidas Touch was sharing that said there were no talks, even through intermediaries.

This fucking idiot has caused the death of tens of thousands of people, the displacement of millions and somehow also managed to fuck up the global energy supply and markets.
