Wait. You're not supposed to listen to songs six months after they come out. It's a turn and burn business where the thing you listen to is the product, but it influenced your personality, making you the product. The point of music is to sort you into a category so you can be sold to easier

new music sucks i listen to music a decade behind so we have some distance to evaluate what's actually good vs what's being marketed and won't offend white southerners.

That's my approach to most media these days. You have to let it breathe for a while to see if it has staying power or if someone is just selling the zeitgeist back to you. I won't start a new show unless it's wrapped. I can't stand getting invested and then the thing gets cancelled
