They got their start stealing artists' work and once the tech caught on CEOs said they will be putting the proletariat out of work while raising their already high cost of living. In exchange the avg Joe or Jane can save 5 minutes drafting an email. The hate wave is very much earned.
And the 5 min saved makes for a 200 word email when a 50 word email will do.
and many 1500 word undergraduate papers that say absolutely nothing
... and lose 60 min due to slop spam on streaming, e-mail, fake web pages at the top of web searches...
