I have only used grapheneos, I would recommend. Its got a minor learning curve, just get fdroid, obsidian and aurora for apps.

I had three barriers, nfc payments, android auto aaaand I cant think of the other but curve payments and sandboxed google play for android auto fixes those.

Grab a pixel 9 on adverts and you are on your way. Flashing it is simple, zero tech skill required.

I got a pro model for half price. Just double check imei numbers, google has an imei search function for them and all to make sure they are working.
