So what does a Marxist-Leninist do in the west? Is it possible to live life in accordance with whatever principles that represents without too many contradictions?
The task of western MLs is to organize the working classes, build up a political party, and agitate and educate among the rest of the working classes for a coherent and all-inclusive political line. Marxism is not a religion, there is no set of holy principles to uphold, it's a guide to action.
Is there an introductory text you would recommend to learn more? I've looked on websites for nearby political parties and it seems things are under construction!
Depends on your country! As an example org for the US, PSL does great work and has a good Liberation School. For general theory, I have a basic ML study guide you can check out.
