I have a backup R740 that I got in case I needed the extra capacity. It's my donor now, or could be my retirement plan since it has 256GB in it.

My NAS is starting to act up and I have no idea what I'm going to do. I've got it all backed up but it's basically deep cold storage (hard drive at a friend's house in a different state). When it goes I'm cooked.

Yeah a drive failure is my biggest worry now. 12TB drives aren't cheap. Luckily I got an extra when prices started going up as a warm backup.
