I used to run GOG Galaxy through Lutris to play Cyberpunk 2077 to use cloud saves.

Other than that, yeah, Lutris and Heroic are probably a better experience if you just need an installer and you don't want to download dozens of packages through their website.

Oh yeah that makes sense. I completely forgot about cloud saves. I only game on a single device so I didn't think about that.
