$10,000 would change my life entirely

The only and one time i had 4 digits in my bank account was after the covid stimulus checks.

It is until it’s gone, I live in a vhcol area and have 100k in savings, that literally a lost job and a medical emergency away from being gone. It’s all relative

Check your local social services department, you might have a mental health provider in your area that's government funded. You likely won't see a therapist right away, or often, when you begin the process, but it's better than nothing at all.

Wow I got three therapy appointments. I learned so much about mindfulness and CBT.

And it was years before I dated a trans woman again, so I couldn't even use the CBT.
