Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

They're at their home, the kid is just calling other kids, the mother doesn't seem aware of it, the looks of the tablet hints at a young kid, I don't think it's normal for parents to have a ~8 years old kid at home having video calls without knowing it and/or checking on it.
But according to the downvotes I guess the best line of action is to give them unlimited access to the internet and only start thinking when they get kidnapped or traumatised. Now *that" is good parenting.
The downvotes are because your statement makes no sense in relation to the comic.
You have absolutely no idea why they are video calling and there are a million and one different reasons why they should be allowed to video call.
Then you go out of your way blaming your statement and pretend we don't care about kids.
No, we just don't care about your statement, the kids have nothing to do with it.
I think moreso people are judging you from the position of already having read the comic to see it's fellow kids they know. Because heaven forbid a comment require a hypothetical not set in reality... People are quite dull, even (and sometimes especially) on the internet.
