And I'm all for it! Every month amazing new ones are coming out.

Currently on my wishlist or waiting for the full release to not burn out on the EA version.

I love how much the spirit of rogue has been infused in the current generation of games.

While in general I agree, I would almost argue that sometimes developers are too reliant on roguelite mechanics.

It's almost a meme when someone releases yet another "roguelite deckbuilder".

I feel that this is a trivial concern. yes roguelite deckbuilder is common now, but so were at one point FPS', RTS', Action RPGs and so many other common formulas. You don't have to play all of them, but this is how the scene evolves.
