A place to discuss and support all Steam Hardware, including Steam Deck, Steam Machine, Steam Frame, and SteamOS in general.
As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:

If your post is only relevant to one hardware device (Deck/Machine/Frame/etc) please specify which one as part of the title or by using a device flair.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
- Follow the rules of Sopuli
- Posts must be related to Steam Hardware or Steam OS in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.

I had to make a hotmail account because they swore my personal email was a "throwaway" acount and refused to use it.
I mean, what kind of derp is that?
You have an account with nearly two thousand games on it you don't use a spam service for recovery.
And if a "free" email from Be Evil, Inc. and Microslop counts for recovery damn near anything should.
Lol. Like Hotmail isn't a throwaway account. That's the only reason I ever had one - to catch spam if I had to use one for some dodgy website.
Exactly, the fact that my paid email wasn't approved, but the crap I have only ever used to download Minecraft updates with worked fine.
I'm sure GMail woukd have worked, too, but I delted that after they had demanded an ID for YouTube to watch a music video and then again for Voice where I've had the same active number since the service launched.
