    tbh, even the most serious of American socialists like the New Afrikan Independence Movement they're far too unorganized, hard even to know about, and fringe to actually have any power.

    The American communist movement is in such a decayed state that it's even more unironically unserious than like satirical Revacholian communists as they are portrayed in Disco Elysium.

    it's bleak that the american left can't even universally agree that the psl stuff was bad. idk how we build a movement like this. it's probably the least confident i've felt in the amerikkkan left, and i've been a hater.
