Ok, how are you going to do that?

The reality is that Hezbollah is not some unpopular rogue terrorist operation, thy're more a parallel state with large grass roots support from the shiah population in southern Lebanon who view them as the only protection from Israel. Any attempt to disarm them will result in a civil war which Lebanon doesn't want.

Doesn't Hezbollah pretty much control the south of Lebanon? AFAIK there is an UN mission in the area that was supposed to help disarm them but never did in practice.

They are also highly reliant on Iran which is currently having problems. This is a ln opportunity for Lebanon to take back it's southern border.
