Not only that, but Tropico 5 is like openly misogynist. The "humour" in the game is very anti-women, I hate it.

Thankfully they got rid of all that in 6.

There are random volcano eruptions, during which some buildings get destroyed - I'm not sure how exactly the game determines which ones (it's not simulated very fancily, you can't see lava spilling out and engulfing stuff or anything like that, some stuff just gets randomly messed up), but I assume proximity plays a role and so these would be destroyed. No space-launching though, just a pile of rubble sicko-wistful

one of the overlays (i can't remember which one) will actually show you the volcanos range, then random buildings within that range get damaged. btw if you upgrade your weather station you can reduce the volcanos range to nil 😁
