That's the most unconvincing defense I've heard in some time. Luckily he had a paedophile judge who was willing to show some solidarity.

In all the time I've been online (early to mid 90s), I've only encountered CSAM once & that was browsing 4chan back between 2005 to 2008 when arseholes did a flood of one of the boards & I went on a major sanitisation of my machine.
Never have I encountered it "in the wild" nor when looking for images such as "sunsets and beaches".
Jail the guy for a long time and put the judge in a neighbouring cell.

Keenan said [he] was appalled by what he found, and decided to start a Tumblr blog to lure out paedophiles so he could report them to the site’s moderators in a kind of “undercover sting.”
All I will say is maybe the judge has larger career plans like a certain British Labour politician. He could be a dull, sociopath-style individual and not at all a pedophile.
