Why are you reposting this 2 days later from your original here? It was also posted by someone else 2 days ago here.

I feel like I've just been scrolling through the same content for 3 days now.

Yeah, and people are commenting with references to the same song.

Nah, we don't have a bot issue here.

Yeah I think I’m gonna block OP tbh, it’s getting really irritating

[–] mfed1122@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 4 weeks ago

Wait which references?

Oh shit it's Sanitation again. Sus indeed. Only reason I'm confused is I don't see much agenda, but also idk how bot strategies work. If sanitation is a real person I'd be curious to know the rationale too.

I agree Lemmy has been weirdly different the last 3 days exactly, maybe 5? More reposts

They do interact and it looks genuine enough. They're just one of those people who post much more than they comment. First page of comments goes five days back, first page of posts just 14 hours.

I know there's an argument to be made for such behavior, esp. on the still young fediverse, but usually they do this way too indiscriminately.

Yeah I agree, definitely such people exist and I don't wanna be running around calling everything I don't like a bot. I do respect trying to keep Lemmy saturated. But yeah either way if you're posting so often you don't even remember what you've posted before, or if you're reposting stuff posted by bots on reddit, then you essentially function as a bot anyways in terms of post quality. So yeah maybe it's just about being a little more curatorial.

I'm sorry but I just can't feel sorry for the people working at Meta, or any of those multi-billion dollar companies anymore.

[–] HubertManne@piefed.social 1 points 4 weeks ago

I worked at two companies that had technical net worths in the billions at times. Unless you mean multi-billion revenue or profit thats going to cover a lot of companies. Then like I totally feel sorry for people working minimum wage bs at mcdonalds and such.

His employees should demand that HE provides them with fun

[–] notsosure@sh.itjust.works 4 points 4 weeks ago

Apparently, he is planning on doing a striptease every Friday at 11 pm.

I knew there was an arrested development scene for this but I couldn't quite place it
