Make it a felony and come with real mandatory sentencing. Then enforce and prosocute it heavily.

do it for bodycams too. if you turn it off or disable the camera while on duty, mandatory 5 year sentence if you were involved in any incident at that time.

Also more firings. Yes people make mistakes when your "mistake" kills someone. Fire them.

It would not apply to the national guard or other troops and it exempts Swat teams and officers responding to natural disasters.

OK. Now every force is a SWAT team. Next dumb idea.

swat needs approval for deployments if I understand correctly. it takes money and paperwork to approve so many resources for a singular operation, this includes risk insurance during the window of operation.

there's no way in hell that any police department could afford making every shift a swat shift.
