Didn't feel like cooking. So I made bread and used up some leftovers. Of course this means breaking out the emergency goat cheese.

Cost? No idea.

That's really great. Well done!

Emergency Goat Cheese is now the name of my new band.

Also, nice spread.

If you have the dough in the fridge it doesn't take much.

emergency goat cheese.

You and I have very different definitions of "emergency', but I like the way you think.

Sometimes you need salt and fat and to not think. So I keep some goat cheese in the house with no actual plan for it.

I just shredded mine. I need to go buy groceries.

I need to diversify as well. The last one was Turkish, but I crave French cheese now.

To give more ideas for goat cheese, I highly recommend chicken breast stuffed with roasted red pepper, goat cheese and spinach

Example recipe - https://rejoicenutritionwellness.com/roasted-red-pepper-goat-cheese-stuffed-chicken-breasts/

I run all my recipie URLs through this site - https://www.recipesonly.co/

It strips the garbage blogs nonsense out and gives the recipe only. The URLs for the stripped recipe suck though...

The only time I've appreciated the life story was for a recipe for honeycomb candy. Candy making is notoriously finicky, and this author included all the information about their trials, errors, and troubleshooting. Of course when I search for it now all that comes up is the usual AI/SSO garbage. It's probably for the best I didn't save it, that stuff is addictive.

Piling up on a cutting board makes it easier to scrape into the garbage.
