Just had two days off work again due to some cold. I had almost a full week off two weeks ago with the same thing so this has been damn annoying.
I'm currently casual so I'm not using up sick pay, but it really doesn't look good. Decided to watch "The Leftovers" and that seems pretty good. I must say that "Mare of East Town" was fantastic. Top notch show for sure.
Never managed to finish The Leftovers. Its all just thinly veiled Christian propoganda right? I couldn't get through it.
Oh bugger. I hadn't thought of it like that. Well at the moment it's an interesting premise. I'll persevere for a while.
I loved the idea initially, and the first few episodes especially were really enjoyable. It was somewhere towards the end I was like.... wait a minute... this is smacking a lot of Bible talk with different words...
I actually persevered through to Season 3 which in hindsight was at least one season too many. Never could quite bring myself to finish the last few episodes.
