No matter how interesting a concept it may look, it's still just a shitty live service game.
The concept is "yet another extraction shooter", and half of the reveal trailer is AI slop...
I thought it seemed very surreal and AI ish
Is it another Battle Royale or Hero Shooter, both?
Extraction shooter ala escape from tarkov
My read is that Marathon is going to be a massive flop. They are charging a box price for it. It's not a style of game that many destiny players will flock to, and it's not unique enough for extraction shooter players to leave their games for.
I expect a full fledged bomb.
