While I think they nailed Dina, I feel Abby looks a bit skinny. Like, in the game she's referred often as "built like a tank", "big as a mule"....and then you see this skinny little girl in the series...Not sure how well she'll fit onto her character.

i like the show but i can’t help but think it’s a little bootleg when watching it. the game is just a work of art and trying to replicate that just feels a little weird.

It brings the game to people who don't or can't play it.

I haven't played the game and, given the horror genre, I am unlikely to ever play it. The show is also horror, but watching is easier than playing.

Additionally I know in the first season the Nick Offerman episode was a unique standalone, so it isn't a straight replication. It seems like they're trying to adapt it to fit TV instead of just filming a game shot for shot.

It's one of those games where you can watch someone else play it and get right into it, unless they utterly suck at the game it flows pretty well between gameplay and story.

I watched my mate play the whole thing before I started playing it myself, then got to experience it in a different way. It's one of my favourite games that is still emotional for me, just a proper good game.

I never actually played the games thanks to them being exclusives but I did watch full playthroughs of both on release

Not exclusives anymore. And since Sony PC releases are easy to find on your regular eyepatch places, these days it would be rather easy to give it a shot. That said, I'm intending to buy both on some sale, just like I got a second time the Nathan Drake series (I already had them back in the PS4, I just love all the Naughty Dog games).

If it doesn't stick to the game then I don't care.
