What would be your stance if memes appear that clearly remade ai memes like 1:1 in meaning but with the original templates, removing the ai visuals? (lemmy.world)

When the ghibli and other ai memes popped up i thought a lot of them are actually pretty funny but because its ai: it rubs me personally in a wrong way.
So I cant like upvote them or enjoy them.
And judging by all the downvotes they received a lot of people share a similar enough view.

And thats how i got the idea about stealing other peoples ai memes to un-ai them, but its basically a repost
And my brain is wired in "reposts are bad" (not the same as sharing)

So yea, i now want other other peoples thoughts including yours :3

Reposts aren't a problem. Just because you've seen it before doesn't mean everyone else has also seen it before. Don't worry about them and just move on.
