It only seemed fitting to have Lemmy himself as the icon.

Anyone else watching the live stream? Anyone lucky enough to be there?

I saw the whole thing.

During Ozzy's set I remarked to my wife, "Y'know, it's so extremely like Ozzy for him to basically host his own funeral"

Overall that was the vibe. It was an OK festival show with a lot of huge acts sounding like themselves and a few sounding old and washed up (GnR), but Ozzy and Sabbath both sounded like they were supposed to and that's the important part, because from now on we'll only ever get cover versions of those songs.

I'm glad they got Bill Ward. The very last Sabbath show should have the full OG lineup. They've earned their rest.

Yeah, I remarked that this isn't back to the beginning so much as the beginning of the end for basically all on that bill. Lots of hair pieces I suspect

I'm watching the livestream.

Halestorm was my favorite performance and I didn't know them.

5 hours into the streaming, Gojira takes the 1st place. They were even better than I expected.

And I really like to hear all the bands' takes on Black Sabbath songs.

Gojira vocals were shockingly bad though. Covers have been fab. Lamb of God's my highlight

Halestorm did kick ass early doors. Tool another highlight for me. The revolving stage great to see also. And Slayer out for another gig!

So many great moments, hard to disagree with the greatest bill ever tag

I had to think twice to understand what you mean, but you mean Black Sabbath’s final gig in Birmingham. I had totally forgotten about that. I was looking for that live stream, but apparently you need to pay 25 pounds to watch it. So no thanks to that. :)

I had plans on streaming it but saw the price and decided not to.

I caved and it was great. It’s only Mickey Mouse money after all.

If it was worth the money is subjective, but the quality was good, and the bands and the atmosphere there were obviously fantastic. Quite emotional, too. Ozzy seemed to be having fun. I’m sure you can find it online somewhere now, have a watch!

I’m glad I decided to do it. Friends far away from me has a little party outside with the stream, that would’ve been great.

£25 plus taxes and service fees. Had a blast though, I have deemed it worthy with mates round too. Will be on a certain site tomorrow I'm sure

I did it too, closer to 40. I enjoyed it with friends online and I deem it worth it. Money is just money, after all. This was history in music.

Guns ‘n Roses was pretty bad, but luckily Metallica made up for it

Axl finished on a high, but missed the memo about hits and classics obviously
