Mullvad or AirVPN. AirVPN has port forwarding so good if you need to torrent

much thanks to @gary_host_laptop for the logo design :)
Mullvad VPN if you're prepared to pay; ProtonVPN or Windscribe if you aren't.
None of the services keep logs or require any personal info.
windscribe if you're prepared to pay too. i like mullvad but i prefer windscribe or port forwarding
Mullvad, Proton, PIA
PIA is run by a sketchy company with ties to zionists. Please do not support them.
If you need a cheap VPN go with AirVPN or even Nord over PIA.
Appreciate the info, neither of us want to support zionists.
Agreed, I was warned off of PIA 5+ years ago.
Mullvad and Proton! But not these:
Okay... And what's China going to do with your encrypted data running through their VPN servers?
Maybe that's all the more incentive to use them, since they deffo won't tattle on you to the UK or Canadian govt.
😂LMAO, thanks!😂
Mullvad, IVPN
Mullvad paid with monero so when the Gestapo starts arresting people, there won't be records of them paying for it.
You can also pay for Mullvad by generating a random token on their website and then just literally sending them cash in an envelope lol.
Oh, you can absolutely do that. There's a higher risk of it getting lost, and it takes longer, but it's definitely an option.
Won't your state know you're using the VPN based on the fact that all your internet traffic is going to the VPN lol
Good point
I use Surfshark and have done for years -- but I'm not seeing it recommended really, am I missing something important that discourages people from using it?
My rule of thumb is if a VPN company is buying youtube ad spots, they're probably selling user data.
I moved from PIA to surfshark last year, I think its great! But your right, its not often the first to be recommended.
That being said, they did just send an unrequested marketing notification to my phone out of the blue... So might have to look elsewhere tbh 🤷♂️
They're same company as NordVPN
Mullvad.
IVPN, Mullvad and Proton are some good ones.
Tor
Create own proxy server with cheap vps
Neither of us are very techy and I told him I'd look into this for him because he's juggling 100 different things right now. I think my dumb ass relaying instructions on how to do this, to his dumb ass, would end in tears.
It's not just UK, but Europe-wide soon. I imagine that the various (other) -eyes countries will be joining with similar legislation.
And then The law of unintended consequences will strike.
Oh, goody. The internet's gonna get a lot worse with a lot fewer voices to hear from.
