And here I have just bought a Jonsbo N4 chasis, and started thinking about using it as as a lab machine and use a Synology as a NAS, nope, not any more, back to the N4, it will be a TreuNAS build...
Truenas is working great for me.
Damn I'm glad I did not opt for a synology system for my nas.

I loved synology, this is such a punch in the gut. After I adopted them myself like 10ish years ago, I converted my dad, and two seperate friends to pick one up too. Never going back now.
This and Plex going subscription, god damn home server industry is sucking.
Good that I’d just moved to Unraid early this year.
