Its start of operation is scheduled for 2026.
The cable car will run between the cities of Blagoveshchensk and Heihe across the Amur River. Travel time will be about three minutes. It is expected that the structure will be able to transport 6,850 passengers daily. Thus, the capacity of the cable car per year will be 2.5 million people.
In addition to infrastructure facilities, Russian and Chinese stations with terminals for comfortable border crossing will be built near the structure. 16 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the cable car and three more projects in the Amur Region and Primorye.
