I won $16 on Lotto last night.

Mah bloods came back fine, well apart from higher cholesterol which is always the case. Not super high though, and she tried to get me on medication for it. I have heard bad things about that medication so for now I have opted out of that suggestion.

I showed her the photos of what happened to my face after that recent change of cream that she prescribed me. She reassured me that it works for other people.

I have been inquiring about a mortgage for a fantastic block of land and talking to the broker yesterday has left me very excited and hopeful.

Humpty Doo Day. Cheers.

If I may ask, feel free to ignore, what medication was suggested? Ezetimibe by chance? If it's of any interest, I have had good results from red rice yeast

It's got legit science behind it, not just woo.

Just to give a couple examples.

Hi. Thanks for the information. I'm currently travelling home and will look later. I'm sure it's interesting.

I didn't let her get as far as prescribing anything. We decided on exercise and diet. Will look again in six weeks.

I don't exercise and I eat decent enough. Plus I believe a large part of my cholesterol is that it's inherited from my Mother that had it very bad.

See how we go.

Nice, yeah diet and exercise are def the best first steps and usually work wonders! Plus added benifits of just feeling better. Good luck on all that, it's well worth the effort

That's exciting. Beware of brokers though, they do have a habit of looking after their own interests. Mostly by selectively approaching lenders that provide the best kick backs, as opposed to who provides you with the best deal.

We got up CUA (now Great Southern Bank - no idea why the name change) and at the time they offered a way better deal than the broker offered up. When quizzed about why GSB was so much better he said he can't compete with credit unions... Erm, then why are you promoting yourself as the best way to get a good mortgage? Best of what, the shit ones? You find the shit with the most intact pieces of corn or something?

Anyway, check out GSB and other credit unions independently of the broker and see how you go. In our experience it saved thousands of dollars just in the interest, let alone the benefits of allowing offset against every account, offset that worked with fixed rate, no fees for extra payoff etc etc

Hey thanks for all of that. My issue is that it's a block of land on Russell Island and it's tricky to get loans for that.
