As a resident of a resident of a smaller neighbouring town i am required by swedish law to say that jönköping is ugly as hell. Which i also agree with tho. The city center and some of the parks are nice but the rest is very industrial.
The same can be said about Linköping, most of the town is ugly as hell.
Well most or at least many swedish cities have their ugly industrial areas, and I've mostly visited the beautiful centres... And I like both the Linköping and Jönköping centers. On the other hand, born in Södertälje everything larger than a one street center with industries smaller than Scania is beautiful... I might be biased ;P
Wait, did I just turn this into an ugliest town competition? Did not mean that, most swedish cities have beautiful parts!
Lets make it a nicest town competition lol? Eksjö and goteborg are my favourite ones. If im having a bad week i sometimes just hop over and spend time there.
But it's so hard, I've really liked all towns I've visited except for, and I'm truly sorry if I offend someone but Borlänge, not a favourite.
On the other hand I did not like Eskilstuna on my first visits, but the latest time, much nicer.
Gbg, really nice Eksjö, very qute, Södertälje, walking along Maren, very nice. The outer centres of Bagis, Årsta, Telefonplan really elevates Sthlm, I could write poems about swedish cities... If I could write poems ;).
More like gammalköping, hah! (Sorry, not sorry)
