This is what the world is failing to realize. The Christian fascist mental illness is a cancer. It is terminal to a just and fair society.

They will not stop once all enemies have been eliminated domestically. They have been waging their fascist culture wars globally simultaneously the entire time. As soon as they rule the USA, they will turn to global domination. Whether they can seize power through political corruption or war is up to each and every country to decide.

Spying on allies during Biden

Spying on allied countries is nowhere near the same thing as trying to find separatists to prop up in order to somehow justify the takeover of an allied country.

From a moral standpoint i don't see thr difference between this and doing coups in other non allied countries

(It's a serious matter, but I still imagine some fat American with a Texan accent wearing cowboy boots and a hamburger holster saying in simplified English 'hello fellow greenlandians, did you notice how Denmark suxs & Trump rules?')

I think I know what I want to be for Halloween this year!

An irony of sorts is that it might very well be “private citizens” in the sense that the funding for these agitators could just as easily be coming from huge American mining/oil companies, as from a government entity.

I really wonder how long it will take before a NATO member is forced to invoke article 5 for collective defense from the US. Seems inevitable at this point and it will mark a turning point in history.

Could end up being the effective end of the alliance. Putin would be so pleased.

[–] woodenghost@hexbear.net 4 points 1 week ago

That would never happen. NATO is not an alliance among equals. It's a manifestation of the US empire. Everyone should be pleased if it breaks up. Russia wanted to join NATO, which Putin supported before and during his time in office. But the bloody war machine always needs an enemy...
