Boycott US

Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

MODERATORS

Immigration attorneys have begun advising people to ensure their social media profiles are free of criticism of the US administration to increase their chances of entering the country.

"Free speech."

"Most free country in the world."

Do not visit the US. You may be the next to be detained.

I live in the US.

I don't want to travel outside my own state because I don't want to have deal with MAGoos here.

I don't want to travel abroad because I don't want to deal with people who hate Trump.

You don’t have MAGA in your state? Lucky you

I do. I just know how to avoid/deal with the locals.

Meh. I live in Trump country now. I avoid showing my political leanings in public.

That's the thing. Even when they don't have power, they have power.

Where do you live that the entire state is friendly?

I'm out west in one of those always blue states and yet anywhere outside of the cities is heavily conservative. It's like that everywhere unfortunately

My neighborhood isn't completely friendly, but I know how to deal with the locals.
