I submit that German politicians and whatever regulatory agencies they have that oversee hate speech matters need to zoom the fuck out and understand that a group that you wronged in history can, in fact, be guilty of the same crime you yourself were guilty of, and are trying to guard against. Making hate speech protections this ethnically literal around Jews (and, it should be mentioned, Russians as well) is in fact counterproductive to the spirit of the whole “never again” idea.

The country in question never denazified, it just banned Nazi aesthetics. The underlying practice of scapegoating and war and anticommunism were never dealt with. Nazis were kept and promoted in positions of power. There, the holocaust is taught as something focused solely on Jewish people, ignoring the systematic killing of communists, Roma, LGBTQ+, and slavs. Germans are taught to feel proud of their shame towards Jewish people and that are now experts at it, gladly admonishing anyone that, say, does not conflate Judaism with the genocidal apartheid settler colonial ethnic supremacist project known as Israel. This, of course, means that Germans remain deeply antisemitic, just with new aesthetics that, rather than scapegoat Jewish people, pigeonholes them into a violent project against brown people that must be supported at all costs.
Of course, there are Germans that do properly reckon with this history and are coherently against antisemitism and settler colonial genocide. They are the subject of this state crackdown, the state itself being an eager lapdog for US empire, happily complicit in yet another genocide.

As Panjak Mishra points out, Germany never really de-Nazified after WWII. They made a pact with the US to rejoin the West against the USSR on condition of blindly supporting the Zionist colony with money and weapons. A few scalps like Eichmann were sacrificed but then it was business as usual.
If you look at German contributions to NATO in the 1950s and 1960s, many of them were senior Nazis. Men like Adolf Heusinger, Hitler's chief of staff, became the head of NATO. Hans Spedel, the Wermacht's commander of land forces in Europe, became Chairman.
Many Nazi scientists and engineers, most notably V2 rocket designer, Wernher von Braun, worked in the US.
Germany's turn to authoritarianism is nothing more than the mask coming off. Their support for the israeli genocide isn't surprising given Germany's history of annihilating indigenous people in Namibia, which they make no mention of in their performative contrition regarding the Holocaust.
In short, fuck Germany.
"Never really de-Nazified" is... idk. It feels like the reader believes it never happened, which makes this quote taste like Propaganda.
Its more of a cheap process where some people who worked for the Nazis were imprissoned or put to the judge to decide. Meaning that Germany did de-Nazify the Country. But to the other side, there are a lot of people who are not and will likely never be put off
