Giant bomb owns itself, but who pitched in to buy it? I don't imagine dan or Bakalar having very deep pockets to keep it running forever.

Still classy move by them, they could have just disbanded. Kinda shows that Bakalar is in it for the long haul.

The damage has already been done , and the evolution GB was pushing for has already been accomplished though. The point of GB was Jeff G saying "fuck you, I'll do it myself" to corporate, and the writers that came along with him. Those guys are all gone to nextlander/Jeff Gerstmann show, and the style of content they wanted to make is being made by everyone.

Best of luck to all the crew. Would be great to see the old horses return, alongside Voidburger (Jess is and always has been one of "us" faceless, alias users).

Great to see it. I moved on to following Jeff Gerstmann and Nextlander as those guys were always what Giant Bomb was about to me, but very cool to see the brand get to live on and finally escape corporate ownership. Wish them the best.

Happy to see this! I was afraid they were going to be shut down last week

Didn't think Fandom had it in them. Very nice move, although my time watching or listening to GB are probably over.
