So I fully admit to being far too ignorant of how this works, but at what point does someone international do something about this? Are there not international arrest warrants out for Putin? When does an international court put out an arrest warrant for Hesgeth or Trump and make it so they can't leave the country? When does the international community start sanctioning the US for this bullshit?
Self protection is my guess. It would have to be a tide turn to withstand the repercussions.
Trump and putin are both bullies with armies and nuclear bombs to back them up. Putin is losing his grip on the army standpoint, but he still has the bombs. Trump is losing his grip on the staying alive front, because he looks sickly as hell and is falling asleep left and right. But he still has a toddler revenge thing going on and an army+ to back him up.
THANK YOU. This is what I've been saying this whole time. Why are we splitting hairs on if the double tap was a war crime when we have no evidence that these people were doing anything wrong to begin with? And even if they are carrying drugs, that isn't something that we issue the death penalty for.
Hegseth and co are just randomly lobbing hellfires at people piloting boats around the Caribbean for no fucking reason, and it's being validated by the media when they choose to criticize only the double tap while staying silent about the fact that it's cold blooded murder.
So that clears things up in my head.
People were talking about war crimes, but I was thinking "well, it can't be a war crime if the US isn't at war" so clearly it's just plain old murder.
But worse, I just realised that this shit is the sort of stuff they used to make fucking movies about. A clandestine murder opération on foreign / international soil. Clear and Present fucking Danger, but instead of it being covered up and the soldiers abandoned to die, the morons in charge are tweeting about it live and making emojis about the killing.
Amazing.
Is there anyone who catches reports of unnecessary military force to kill anyone purportedly over drugs & doesn't think that's murder? Their claim doesn't justify deadly violence even if true.
No one needs a deep analysis of any kind to see that.
Trump pardons cocaine kingpin who ruled Honduras
President Donald Trump pardoned a former Honduran leader sentenced to prison on cocaine distribution charges, a move some Democrats say undercuts the rationale for Trump's aggressive posture toward Venezuela that includes military strikes on alleged drug boats.
Sorry about the source, first one that came up. He's a fucking drug trafficker, lol. He pardoned a drug trafficker while claiming these boat blow ups are totally cool.
OK, do something about it. He and his organization need to be removed from office.
