Use the worst voting method you can get away with so you ensure the outcome you prefer.

my dumb idea that I'm thinking for a book.

Dunbar number democracy. every 150ish people get to vote a local leader to deal with any issues, they act like a judge and a mayor. the number is small because they are meant to know their people in a personal level. like being invited to family events, they should know all their people by name and what is going on in their lives as if close friends/family.

then repeat for another level. every 150 local representatives vote one of them to be their representative for level 2 (this representative is closely linked to those 150 who voted for them but he's indirectly in charge of 22500 people.

level 3 representative is in charge of 3 million people.

a large city or a small nation only needs 3 levels and one more level will track half a billion. and 5 levels are enough for the whole planet.

if you have an issue with your representative and are not satisfied with what's going on. you complain to the higher level.

also, it isn't like an election where you vote for your specific representative in your apartment building, but you can choose whoever you like and as long as they have 150 wanting for them to be their representative, then they are.

issues with people with other representatives will be resolved with medication between the afflicted parties and their representatives.

I'm still thinking about it

Conduct a vote using every method and each method that doesn’t vote for itself is eliminated and then repeat the process until there is only one method left to be declared the winner
