Solid track. Nice bass groove.
8/10
I just want his voice to narrate my life for a bit. Also, OP, you need to drop your favourite so we can judge you too
Hmm let's see. Hard to pick one, but I have to go for this:
Not my thing but not bad. Drum beat is gonna be stuck in my head now though. 7/10
Fun jam, I enjoyed that.
All his music is a fun wholesome bop really. He was a Eurovision contestant during covid so his second entry after the shutdown was a love song to his wife for their 10 year anniversary.
Holy fuck, that was a hard listen😭
I give it 7/10. Good beat, but i was cringing all through the song. Sorry!
19 fucking mins i can't listen to it all gang😭🙏
Ah man. Always so relevant. Ancient but ever present present.
Listening to this version I think the mastering could be better. The intro is killer and haunting, but the bass is blown out at 1:37. You have to be careful with this song and NOFX always knew that if you listen to the original album version. Its got a point to make and if you take it too lightly you can't make the point. Like I'd really like to hear this without the audience noise and maybe not a full orchestra, just the bass and brass section. The winds and percussion (especially the xylophone) are too light-hearted.
I actually prefer this version over the album version. Sure, the sound could be improved here and there. But it's punkrock in the end. Doesn't need to be perfect.
Genuinely any of the full length songs on the album tho...

This song is fantastic WTH!! This track is so clean, it's crazy!!
11/10. I'm def checking out the whole album
It breaks my heart then to tell you I lied, Longcat is my favorite song
Aaaah i see what you're doing. You're trying to bait me into rating more than one song because i liked the first one ;). I'll grant you one more rate.
9/10. I feel it's too short to be as good as the first, but still an excellent song.
Too much good stuff out there for me to have a favourite, so here's what I'm listening to as I leave this comment.
Is that an all female band? That's sick🤘
I can't help but hear some Gojira/Meshuggah influence, and I'm a big fan of those two bands.
So, that's a solid 9/10 from me
Yep all women. They've been my gateway into the genre. I've not gotten into it much because I like being able to understand vocals with minimal effort, but I feel like the vocalist in Crypta does a pretty good job at being articulate and it's raised my tolerance enough for me to explore some other bands.
Thanks for the post btw, I've been enjoying some new artists and great classics so far :D
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed the post
It kinda needs the buildup of the album for the full effect tho
Based Quadeca enjoyer
10/10 as always 🗿
Quadinky does it once again. 11/10 no notes
I swear, he's taken over all my playlists lol, just can't find that sound elsewhere :3
Don't know that i have a definitive "favorite", but
Pink Floyd - Time
Timeless (heh) Pink Floyd classic right here
9/10
Röyksopp - Eple
Didn't realise this song was older than me till i checked😅. Sounds like a 2020 song. Way ahead of it's time imo
9/10
This some shit they play in Viking movies when they hoist their battle ship sails, and burst into a song and dance with booze at their behest😭🙏
I'll give 7/10. It's not bad at all
TIL that German electro-medieval is a genre. Reminds me a bit of Värttinä, which is 100% complimentary.
The one that pops up in my head is https://.youtube.com/watch?v=5C2LJE2SYfE. And i very much like the meaning "buy strawberries instead of war machines". I wish some high ranking israelies would value this song more (i know that the band was at popular there a decade ago)
(sorry for over explaining, im just anxious but want to share and dont mean harm)
Hmm. I don't think I've ever tried to decide on a favorite song. I'll have a ponder.
I've been playing this often recently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zY6RbPaTNUc 5MIINUST x Puuluup - (nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi | Estonia Official Video 🇪🇪
"We Can Dream" by Creo (link goes to Tidal)
I can listen to just this song for hours and it doesn't get boring.
Edit: here is YT link if you prefer it.
SONATA ARCTICA - I Have A Right
Because my parents suck, so this is my anthem.
Edit: Disclaimer: I don't listen to much English songs so like... you know... pls don't be like "my tastes suck" because I haven't gotten a chance to really explore.
Btw, Any tips on how to find cool music?
