8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

I love how journalistic institutions are now framing the annexation of Greenland as "an option" for the administration in the most tepid analysis of potential "costs." I mean, Associated press, what are you doing.

I am souring on mainstream, respected news outlets, using timid, middle-of-the-road language talking about any of this. They are complicit in normalizing this entire destruction of the USA and our potential slide into disaster and suffering around the world because of irresponsible leadership.

He's basically an amalgamation of all the worst qualities of the average American. He represents more Americans than he doesn't. This is something we Americans need to come to terms with since a lot of us are in denial about that.

That's not even a guarantee. We're going to do our best to return Venezuela to Venezuela's control as soon as Trump is gone, I'm sure. And I suspect that government will be disinclined to honor agreements made at the barrel of a gun.
Given the widespread support for the Bolivaran revolution in Venezuela, MAGA is going to have a hard time gaining full control.
Venezuela is one of those countries where a guerilla insurgency could tie up the American military for years, when they'll finally get out after accomplishing nothing but shifting trillions of tax dollars to the military-industrial complex.
