You are now a Disney Princess. Congrats!

I would love to know what song you were singing, princess

The lyrics go "chicka dee dee dee"

That's actually the chickadee's warning call so it probably would not work for attracting them. Fun fact, more dees means more danger.

I noticed that with squirrels too! They would have one call if there was a cat in the yard and a completely different call if there was MORE than one cat in the yard.

Didn't know you need a key to start a bird.

[–] qbus@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

Hey I hear you have some black oil sunflower seeds for me

[–] Crackhappy@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

My brain refused to process this image correctly for a couple of minutes. I saw you holding a tiny bird in a hair straightener.

Im so close to adding my wifes valet key to my ring. She regularly misplaces her keys, and just grabs the valet key. Then misplaces that. Then cant go anywhere. Then its suddenly my problem that she has no keys and is going to be late

My mom used to misplace her keys all the time, so she bought this device that makes a sound when you whistle, and then you can find your keys. The main problem with it was that it would also activate when she laughed, like a depressed person who only wanted to fit in and would laugh along with you. But hearing this thing make a sound when you were laughing just took you out of the moment. Very annoying and the device didn't last long in the household. I suppose nowadays you could get an airtag or similar for your keys.

[–] Sc00ter@lemm.ee 2 points 2 months ago

Shes tried the airtag.... but "its too bulky" or "didnt fit in that bag i wanted to use" and it never made its way back on

I'm actually kind of triggered by the multiple bulky key fobs.

[–] MutilationWave@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 2 months ago

Yeah why do they have keys for multiple cars on one ring?
