I feel like domain usernames are still inherently susceptible to phishing, you can get a typo or similar character to try and trick someone that your username is an official one

but with threads users have to opt into federation, and... no one does. almost every profile I check keeps it disabled. it even gives them a notice after a while like "hey, you're sharing with the fediverse, you sure you want to keep this on?"

it's a real meal replacement product named after the movie, it was a big trend in the tech crowd like 10 years ago. it's supposed to be a blend of all the nutrients you need in drink/powder form, people would try living off of it.
