You do realise how heavily scrtunised Elections Alberta is, right?

My autistic ass had to do a double-take on "having a cute ass" before I realised what community this was posted to lmao.

This was a joke.

YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. What if I want us to do things sideways, frontwards, backwards, upside down, 360 degrees, in the living room, in the bedroom, on the ceiling, in the closet, on the fridge, in the car in our Disneyland resort hotel?

Do I want the results of the war being that my hometown needs to be rebuilt from the ground up?

Or do I want to have that be the case, except we gotta wait 5000 years for the radiation to be at a level where we can do that safely?

Listened to Dancin' the Night Away by Voggue. Easily highlight album of the week, did not expect it to slap as hard as it did.

Also listened to True Blue by dj TAKA, which was nice, and gave the TEXTILE EP a listen. Overall pretty good lately.

Swear I first made a community for this way back when first started with Lemmy on the .ml instance years back. Could be misremembering.

Regardless, decided to try and put in a valid effort to build a community hosted on PieFed for those that are demisexual. I feel my personal experience can be a bit isolating at times, and considering that there's a surprising lack of communities catered specifically to demisexuals online in general, I figured it would be best trying to make one from scratch as I would imagine that there's other people out there that share those feelings of isolation with their identity.

Please feel free to join us over at !demisexual@piefed.ca !

Show me a right-wing content creator who has claimed games aren't political. I'll wait.

They always say that it's political because a minority is in them, or because they didn't make a woman eye candy.

I'm not gonna bother anymore.

Don't think it was, they had a much more cartoon strip art style, and the format of it was made to parody those political comics you'd see in a newspaper.

Edit: It was Yolo Swag Studios I was thinking of.

This reminds me of that cartoonist on Twitter who'd make those absolutely hilarious and deranged comics that parodied conspiracy theories. Wish I remembered the name, just recall they used a certain dog character a lot.

Tried my best with genres.

Hey all,

I'm in a bit of an awkward spot currently. I was told not long ago by housing program I'm with that I'll be needing to move within the next month as I'm being transferred to another program, and in order to be eligible for the new program, I need to be moved into one of the buildings that program owns/leases.

I have a Nana in England, and she's recently been sending me a few parcels, mostly clothing. While I did tell her about the move coming up so that she'd know not to send anything more, the strike hit around the same time, and she told me that she had two already on the way.

Now the dilemma is this, I don't know if I'm going to still be at my current address whenever the strike ends, and what I don't want happening is for those parcels to be delivered to an address I no longer live at. I'd hate if they were returned to her at an additional cost to her, or if whoever lives here next is the type of jerk to take what wasn't meant for them.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? I support the strike, I just also want to make sure I'm not losing my parcels when it ends.

Thanks in advance.
