I'm an 18, but I'm here to see if anyone is routinely Donald Ducking it in bed, with a 5, 10, or 15.

They gave Betty White the best lines in that movie.

I suspect that cleaning the glue off the textured sheets is a bigger pain in the butt than off the smooth. But I say that as someone who never tried to clean PVA off of PEI.

I just use my textured sheet and remove very carefully - but I tend to use harder TPUs which makes flexing the sheet more effective.

I have heard people say that TPU is the reason they still keep a glue stick handy and the Prusa material matrix says to use it on their smooth PEI sheet. And it suggests a polypropylene sheet is also applicable without glue stick.

I think everyone is missing what that sign really means. It means, after all these years, we've finally found Louie!

The State - Louie Sketch - I wanna dip my balls in it!

Evolution to spiders: We've decided to combine your head and thorax.

Some jumping spiders: Nah

I love it when they do Gorngnam Style or the Tangorn.

Here's why I don't own a bar. Every time I got up to bathe I'd feel compelled to announce with bravado, "The line must be drawn here. This smelly, no stinkier!"

And then I'd march to the shower with conviction... and a tommy gun.

The row of 20XXs makes me laugh. Looks real bright around 2077, you cyberpunk nuts.

Nothing serious just some aggravated back pain and a busy day that has aggravated it much more.

I'd usually don't log my crimes so I don't need to delete them. But I guess that's why I'll never be the Emissary.

A team of researchers who say they are from the University of Zurich ran an “unauthorized,” large-scale experiment in which they secretly deployed AI-powered bots into a popular debate subreddit called r/changemyview in an attempt to research whether AI could be used to change people’s minds about contentious topics.

more than 1,700 comments made by AI bots

The bots made more than a thousand comments over the course of several months and at times pretended to be a “rape victim,” a “Black man” who was opposed to the Black Lives Matter movement, someone who “work[s] at a domestic violence shelter,” and a bot who suggested that specific types of criminals should not be rehabilitated.

The experiment was revealed over the weekend in a post by moderators of the r/changemyview subreddit, which has more than 3.8 million subscribers. In the post, the moderators said they were unaware of the experiment while it was going on and only found out about it after the researchers disclosed it after the experiment had already been run. In the post, moderators told users they “have a right to know about this experiment,” and that posters in the subreddit had been subject to “psychological manipulation” by the bots.

While I am glad this ruling went this way, why'd she have diss Data to make it?

To support her vision of some future technology, Millett pointed to the Star Trek: The Next Generation character Data, a sentient android who memorably wrote a poem to his cat, which is jokingly mocked by other characters in a 1992 episode called "Schisms." StarTrek.com posted the full poem, but here's a taste:

"Felis catus is your taxonomic nomenclature, / An endothermic quadruped, carnivorous by nature; / Your visual, olfactory, and auditory senses / Contribute to your hunting skills and natural defenses.

I find myself intrigued by your subvocal oscillations, / A singular development of cat communications / That obviates your basic hedonistic predilection / For a rhythmic stroking of your fur to demonstrate affection."

Data "might be worse than ChatGPT at writing poetry," but his "intelligence is comparable to that of a human being," Millet wrote. If AI ever reached Data levels of intelligence, Millett suggested that copyright laws could shift to grant copyrights to AI-authored works. But that time is apparently not now.

Electricians are here and are working in the unfinished attic over my head. I keep imaging dust raining down, or worse. My cat has developed a 1000 yard stare probably picturing 180lb squirrels walking across our rafters.

We've also hit out first unexpected snag. Hopefully first and only.

Super nice guys though, I feel bad for how often they keep getting hurt in my imagination.

Here's the story if your day has been too full of good news and you need a palate cleanser.

I saved my fortune cookie for a snack, and it turns out this guy really like how they smell.

I happened to notice today that the "Itchy and Scratch Land" episode of The Simpsons aired just over 30 years ago (on Oct. 2nd, 1994).

That means that, for a full 3 decades now, I have checked every single gift, souvenir, and tourist shop I've been in for a Bort plate. Its not obsessive and I'm not going out of my way, but if I see a rack of novelty license plates I make a point to look for Bort.

Anyone else, or am I alone in this particular pop culture predilection?

Thought about posting this to lemmybewholesome, but thought it might not fit everyone's definition.
