Thank you!
Hello, I'm here
We're quite happy at https://piefed.social/
If you were to move your community there, this is how far the moved content would go: https://piefed.social/c/eurographicnovels@lemm.ee?sort=old&layout=list&content_type=posts&flair= (so around 1 year old, when Piefed.social itself was created)
Not the whole content, but better than nothing.
For the 3 questions, feel free to post to !piefed_meta@piefed.social , that you can access from your Lemmy account, as any other Piefed community
!interstellar@kbin.earth is available for both Android and iOS.
However, you don't have to have a Piefed account to interact with a Piefed community, see this post: https://lemmy.zip/post/41125240
I just did, didn't it federate on your end?
For the one that I didn't, it's because they haven't decided yet (!esp@lemm.ee)
No questions from my side, just a big thank you to mention Mbin, Lemmy, the Fediverse in that interview. It's probably the first time for me where I watch a video talking about all of this, which is curious with how part of my daily life it is.
I still haven't watched everything, but one of your quotes sounded resonated with me "We're only here for a short time. Why should we be a-holes to each other, and not just try to enjoy ourselves?"
Anyway, thank you for everything, take care!
As everyone knows, I'm on Lemmy/Piefed a lot.
I mostly stick to communities like !casualconversation@piefed.social, !lego@piefed.social, !football@sopuli.xyz . Not politics, no news, no memes.
Atmosphere in the casual communities is always nice and pleasant. From time to time someone tries to get uncivil or negative, but then they get banned, and that's it.
I learned about a very important piece of news in another country on !pics@lemmy.world the other day, because I am completely avoiding those communities. People who browse All were probably aware of it for a week.
Just saying that it is possible to stay in the "casual/positive" side of Lemmy.
Very good suggestions!
I noted I was myself getting a bit too busy with some communities, especially with regular posts. So I took this as an opportunity for people on !casualconversation@piefed.social to each be responsible for one weekly thread.
That way it allows them to feel more like this is also their community (and it definitely is), and it allows me to delegate a few things
