3 hours of debugging can save you 30 minutes of reading the documentation

I suppose people will always do what they think is easiest

You know what would be way better than a symbol for "healthy" food would be requiring manufacturers to label food that fails to meet standards as "unhealthy." Bonus points if you tax it to death so it's no longer economically viable to sell garbage and label it "food"

Like, shit, the public perception is that I can't afford healthy food anyway. But at least if the unhealthy food was also labelled it'd be easier to avoid

You can't teach a computer to feel because computers lack the hardware for emotion.

You might be able to emulate a feeling in a convincing way. This means that computers will always be somewhat sociopathic.

So to your question, I think that means they can mirror their inputs or fake feelings according to their programming

Friendly reminder that using bleach to clean cat pee can fucking kill you and your cat

I mean, I'd be kind of surprised if it did kill you, but ammonia and bleach mix to make an extremely toxic gas

The real miracle here is that the lil guy doesn't have a thought in their head for most of the day. And look how happy they are!

This tidbit is sometimes presented like it's a pro-trans win, but the truth is far from pretty.

If you get caught as a cis-gendered gay man in Iran then you're potentially facing the death penalty. In a legal move that wouldn't exist anywhere else in the world, you can plea-bargain your ding dong into a hoo-hah.

If the state is offering you a choice between mutilation or death, is it even really a choice?
