Could be a reflection thing, but that along with how the engraving on the plate at the top right doesn't quite work making me think AI

Engineers love these things because they're real easy to design, and very efficient in usable volume vs materials (which is why they're used for every warehouse/big store/factory)

Obviously not great for living in or anything but that's the joke :)

If engineers had our way all buildings would look like this

This is the ideal building. You may not like it but this is what peak performance looks like 😆

Huge fan of Reynolds here! Been a while since I read the Revenger series but I remember being amazed by the quantum currency thing he does there.

Plus the revelation space series are just an incredible setting, love it

Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, by Susanna Clarke - magical fantasy set in England around 1800, absolutely beautiful imo and one of those books you just live inside while you're reading it

I often get an error when uploading pics I've taken on my pixel - figured out it's something to do with the motion capture thing it does to get the best shot, the way to fix is just crop the photo a little, that forces it to resave as a single image and then it works fine

Very specifically, the fresh green you see on a forest hillside from a long way away just as the leaves start appearing in spring
