I'm talking about the voters. How many Democratic voters want genocide in Gaza?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

I'm not sure how anything I've said about the situation constitutes "gloating". And no, I don't support genocide.

How is letting donvict into office helping?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

No worries, happens to me all the time.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

You saw people on Lemmy cheerleading genocide?

Honestly, so many companies want to start with getting rid of skilled labor and try using "AI" to write code and so on; I don't know why the board doesn't ask the C-suite to replace THEMSELVES with "AI" for an experiment and see how that goes instead...the cost savings would be immense and they would no longer have to deal with outsized egos, to boot.

Oh, why don't they do this, at least in my view? Oh, probably because all these people sit on each others' boards and they aren't about to show what a sham C-suite work is...

A sharpie for hurricanes, an LLM for trade policy. What a fucking world.

In the long run, we’re all dead

Isn't Foghorn Leghorn quoting Keynes here? Why, I thought Keynes [1] was right up there with Bill Ayers and Saul Alinsky [2] in the pantheon of Bad Guys the cons don't know a fucking thing about but constantly talk about.

[1] I'm still convinced a lot of racist dumbfucks thought that Keynesian had something to do with Kenyan, because Obama is Blah.

[2] I remember in the height of qons talking about "Alinsky style politics" I'd ask them to explain what they mean by that? Also, have they read Rules for Radicals? If so, what is so bad in there? What is the book about? I also asked them if the mere use of satire is "Alinsky style politics" does that mean Mark Twain had a time machine and he traveled into the future to get tips from Alinsky or something? Hilarity would ensue...

Well, to be fair, they go into effect on April 5th and April 9th, so we are not quite living with them being in place just yet....we are most definitely living with the announcement of them.

I was being a bit silly, but there was a rumor flying around about a week ago about how he's on Grindr.

I don't give it much actual credence - but it would not surprise me at all if we did learn it was true....

So, someone in the WH taking dictation from donvict talking about donvict in the third person, like totally normal people do...

I think the male members of them would seriously cut their nuts off, get some black sneakers and chug some poison if donvict told them they need to catch a ride on the Hale-Bopp comet.

IIRC, that was about the same numbers as when Nixon got on the helicopter to fly away after resigning in disgrace. There are qons that treat their party the same way they treat their favorite sportsball team.

It doesn't matter what "their guy" does, they are with them. Seriously, donvict could be caught throwing lit puppies into traffic and he'd probably still have 25-30% with him. That's probably about the only truth donvict ever said when he talked about shooting someone on Fifth Avenue.
